It's been a very long time since I've posted anything here. Over the past year our family has traveled peaks and valleys...just like everyone around us. The one constant factor that NEVER changed was the presence of our heavenly Father and His constant reassurance that He will never fail us .... and that we are much more resilient than we thought. Sound familiar?
Over the past couple months I've visited about a zillion blogs thanks to my latest addiction, Pinterest. There are many many blogs out there from fabulous cooks, moms, business women, pioneers, gardeners, crafters, crocheters, and every DIY imaginable. I have been alternately amazing and horrifying my family with my "I found it on Pinterest!" experiments. They've been pretty willing to try things ~ until I stated I wanted to make homemade toothpaste. I'm still working on them with that one.
Realizing how much is really, really out there made me rethink having a blog at all. I was back to my original opinion that it would mostly be just for me. I was feeling pretty self conscious and a little silly....until I started thinking about all the fun things I HAVE found that I've used to kick off a zillion conversations. That was what I set out to do writing a blog to begin with....start conversation.
